| Title of review |
I love my animal |
| What are the strengths? |
Picks up a hell of a lot of cat hair and dust that other vacuum cleaners don't.
Simple to assemble and use out of the box.
Almost impossible to think of ways to improve on the design.
The ball concept takes getting used to but ultimately seems like the way forward because you can cover one area more quickly.
5 year warranty.
Well packaged. |
| What are the weaknesses? |
The capacity for holding dirt isn't huge - but having said that, it's easy to empty and surely better not to store dirt indefinitely.
Not a cheap household appliance (but think of the warranty...
Does seem a little heavy but I think that's probably an illusion due to the different weight load of the ball - it's not like you have to pick it up, unless you're taking it upstairs (I live in a bungalow so no problems there). |
| Summary |
Having planned to buy this vacuum cleaner for months I was concerned on collecting it that it might not live up to my exceedingly high expectations - I was not disappointed - the DC25 Animal got so much dirt from my carpet I'd have been embarrassed if I wasn't so chuffed. If you have a pet it is definitely worth paying the small amount extra for the animal rather than the allfloors (which I haven't tried).
I'm sure the novelty will wear off but if you can get a bit more enjoyment when you get your dyson out to do the chores - it can never be a bad thing ey? |
